Here we grow again! We are now looking for candidates to become our new Shop Supervisor.

The Shop Supervisor will lead and work side-by-side with our fabrication team to ensure fabrication processes meet customer requirement and company objectives. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include:

Provide leadership and supervision to the fabrication shop staff.
Organize work flow and schedule staff as needed to maximize productivity.
Monitor employee work performance relative to quality and production requirements, ensuring product quality, on time delivery and production efficiency.
Generate material and hardware orders based on project drawings.
Instruct staff on welding and fabrication best practices and safety procedures.
Ensure completion of shop maintenance and repair work.
Work in fabrication shop producing/assembling materials and/or in the field installing materials, as needed.
Other duties as required.

Skills and Requirements

Must have experience working with stainless steel (welding, dressing, polishing, installing).
At least 10 years relevant industry experience.
At least 3 years of experience supervising fabrication projects.
Problem-solving, trouble-shooting and project management skills.
Red Seal welding/fabrication certification or equivalent.
Able to read blueprints and engineering fabrication drawings.
Comfortable and experienced using break, shear, drill press, ironworker and other shop equipment.
Basic computer knowledge.
